I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2021 while in pharmacy school. At the time of diagnosis, I received very limited education, which has inspired me to find ways to fill that gap for others. Since graduating, I’ve made it my mission to provide clear, practical education and resources for people managing diabetes, and to reimagine diabetes supplies by making day-to-day devices more personal, beautiful, and confidence-building. The passion for prettier more aesthetic devices brought about the creation of The Decorated Diabetic in 2026. I hope to combine clinical knowledge with lived experience to support diabetics, reduce stigma, and help make self-care easier and more empowering.
